This house reads the World English Bible (WEB), a translation of the whole Bible into modern English, in the line of the American Standard Version of 1901. Every member reads the same words, word for word, on every page of this app.

The WEB is public domain: no copyright binds it, and no permission is needed to copy, print, or share it. "Freely you received, so freely give" (Matt 10:8).

Five verse slots stand empty in the WEB and do not render here: Luke 17:36, Acts 8:37, Acts 15:34, Acts 24:7, and Romans 16:25. The numbering is the church's common numbering, unchanged.
